It's definitely good for us to support the cultures and true historical identity of the altaic and turkic peoples of central asia, siberia, china or elsewhere without the annoying Turkish+white nationalism+racism thrown in. The Xiongnu studies at Egyin Gol apparently started in 1943 by Russians+nationalists who are a bit notorious for their caucasian-centric "genetic claims" claims of Mongoloid people's history, such as supporting the very controversial idea of "Dene-Caucasian" language groups by people like Vladamir Toporov.........

...... and claiming that certain Mongoloid nomadic people "have light hair and blue eyes" without any solid evidence except for self conjecture, dubious or doctored images, such as those by people like Leonid Kyzlasov, who supposedly "quoted Chinese sources", but cannot name the source. If true, GREAT! Don't let these racist jerks this into an anti Asian/anti China racist dichotomy. The Genome News website with Christine Keyser-Tracqui studies of the apparent 62 skeletons of the Egyin Gol burial site for "elite members" of Xiongnu society reads like a frankenstein Wikipedia article, and will at best provide a reference point for more credible future studies into true history.
