David (Daniel Bushell) is surprised when his alter ego takes on a life of its own, giving him advice regarding his drinking, gambling, work life and love life. David has a particular paranoid problem with his work colleague Gordon (Sandy Boyes). David's Conscience (Nigel Barrett) tries his best to steer David to a better life, but in the end David takes responsibility for his actions and has to deal with the consequences.
