This time it was the Pistol Pete show, as he tested his Camero as well as the Track. But Pistol Pete wasn't the only entrant, in fact there was a full feild of competitors, both in the street car class and in the Pro Street class. Whilst the sky above threatened, and history suggests that Calder Park is a rain magnet, it didn't open up on us, making for an amazing night of drag action. so sit back and enjoy nearly 40 minutes of racing over 4 parts! HpHeaven headed up to Sydney for one of the Drag Racing calander's premier events, the Sports Compac Group's Compac Attack. 2 days of Drag Racing action crammed into one action packed day with classes ranging from Street Cars right through to the Compac group featuring the likes of Gas, Titain, the Hurricane and more. The pressure was on from the start of racing with teams desperate to see their car reach the white line first and take home the braging rights, at least until Jamboree. It was nonstop till the finals, and the wear and tear of full on racing began to show through. With many limping thier way into the last 4 of their class. With a modeling comp to boot, this is the perfect rev up for any Jamboree fan, and a fantastic drag racing event in its own right.
