The problems of our planet call out for change. That change must take the form of our innate connections with everyone and everything on the planet. We will destroy ourselves and much of the planet, if we fail to awaken to this truth.
The ONLY awakening which means anything is seeing AND living our connections with our fellow people and all of the elements of the world. Anything short of this is vain self amusement.
This requires us to examine every belief that has entranced us with false promises of security and equally false knowing. See what is really true with all of the courage and intelligence you can muster. What you find will astound you.
The primary belief we must question with a discerning eye is the belief in the needy "me". This is the legacy of inadequacy that we carry in our hearts and minds.

About Me:

Eric is the author of Liberation from the Lie: Cutting the Roots of Fear Once and for All
Hometown:
philly
Country:
United States
Occupation:
Data analyst - occasional slacker
Hobbies:
Music, ideas, politics (tend to be highly left of most positions) - but I really don't see it as a matter of "left" or "right". It's more about what conforms what I "believe" to be true based on the most impersonal examination.
Movies:
Moby Dick, Spartacus, The Wire, Dexter, Six Feet Under, Seinfeld (the gold standard), Jeopardy, Godfather 2, Dr. Strangelove, Bonny and Clyde, Little Big Man, La Strada,
Music:
Anything by Bach, Brahms, lots of Bernstein and Copland, Debussy, Concerto for the Left Hand, Ives, some Mozart, some Beethoven, Beatles, some Motown, early Miles Davis
Books:
Madame Bovary, Crime and Punishment, Brother K, The Trial (and lots of Kafka - try reading him as a comic), Neruda, Moby Dick (yeah, it's pretentious), early Ron Hansen, Whitman, Faulkner, some Murakami, many many others ...

I'm so interested in the things you have 2 say. I watched most of your videos and like I said before you have a lot to say. Being Native is SO important 2 me and I don't understand why people and in my case MEN want to bring me down and try and control me and then tell me what I can and cannot do and get HIGHLY upset when I hit the pow-wows...but we need more people like you in this world!
