Utterly gorgeous. The best song on the album. When Mandalaband bop, they're OK; when they do slowies, they are wonderful.

If Clifford T. Ward is the best songwriter to ever emerge from the fabulous town of Kiddrminster, then Dale Minaker is the second best. A really catchy tune ... listen to it once & you want to listen to it again (& again). Well done, Mr M!

Listened to this on a walkman - remember those? - whilst walking home on a winter's night and looking at the stars.

A demo but nonetheless it captures the beauty of Woolly's music. Some touching photographs, too, of him with Gill. I will never stop listening to his music.

Saw them at Fuse Festival in Lichfield, Staffs, July 2011. Certainly no one else, not even Nick's ex- band The Enid, sounds like them ... music that is well worth paying attention to.

What a strange, but wonderful, bunch The Enid are, in all their incarnations ... I do like their music.

Great video, chaps ... magnificent acting, great tunes. Poor old Feargus (note the 'a') gets a bit of a pasting, though, doesn't he? ... he didn't actually use violence & can't like, say, John Frost be called a physical force Chartist. Still, this is very enjoyable to watch ...

Who would have believed that this late in the day Robert John Godfrey would have assembled such a terrific version of The Enid? Max's vocals are fab!

'Time Honoured Ghosts' was one of those BJH albums when it all came together. Great John Lees songs. Great Les Holroyd songs. And a great Woolly Wolstenholme song. Les' second best conribution to 'THG' ('Song for you' is his best) - but still fantastic stuff - he'd never be this good again.

For thirty years I thought this was the worst song on the magnificent 'Time Honoured Ghosts'. Now I realise that it is in fact very, very good ... strange that.

The first BJH single. Les was much amused when someone called for it on the 1987 tour! Beautiful, memorable lyrics, beautiful melody and beautifully sung by Woolly Wolstenholme ... he left us so many lovely songs
