The Houston Airport System (HAS) served more than 49.5 million passengers in 2010.

Houston's three airports contribute more than $24 billion to the regional economy and are responsible for the employment of 151,000 people.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the 8th busiest airport in the nation and offers service to more Mexican destinations than any other airport in the world. IAH provides service to more than 110 destinations within the U.S. and nearly 70 direct and nonstop international destinations. In 2010, more than 40.4 million passengers traveled through the five-runway airport.

William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), Houston's second largest airport and the 43rd busiest airport in the country for total passengers. HOU offers nonstop direct service to over 30 destinations within the U.S. In 2010, more than 9 million passengers traveled through the four-runway airport.

Ellington Airport (EFD) supports operations of the U.S. Military, The Department of Homeland Security, NASA and a variety of general aviation tenants and non-aviation businesses. EFD has three state-of-the-art active runways and sites are available for corporate T-hangar development, industrial, office and/or commercial development.

HAS provides a safe and dynamic air services network that fosters economic vitality for the transportation industry and the greater Houston region.
