Hey everyone! Here is a little something about me and my piano history :P I started playing the piano when I was 12 years old and absolutely hated it for the first 3 years. I only started to enjoy playing a couple years ago. Thats when I began playing by ear. At first I was SO bad at it and it was very frustrating. Now it is second nature to me and I can pick up a song within minutes. I love posting videos and reading all of your comments. I try to help out as much as possible but sometimes its difficult since there are SO many requests or questions. Thanks to everybody for all of your support!

I am currently 18 years old.

2. How long have you been playing?
About 6 years

3. Did you ever take lessons?
Yes, for 3 years.

4. Do you make your own sheet music or buy it?
I make up the arrangements for all of my music and write it down onto sheets.

5. What software do you use to write music?
Finale Notepad

6. Do you take requests?
This one is tricky. Technically, yes. If alot of people are requesting the same song then I will play it. If only 1 person requests a song, I wont.

7. Do you have any tips for playing by ear?
Listen to your iPod WHILE you are playing the piano. Start out by trying to play the melody line on the piano. Then try listening to the guitar chords that are being played and play ONLY those chords on piano. Once you feel comfortable with both, play them together.
