Nous travaillons depuis plus de quinze ans avec les structures sonores, en relation étroite avec les frères Baschet contribuant, par notre pratique d'instrumentistes au développement, à la création et à l'amélioration de celles ci, par notre pratique pédagogique à l'enrichissement et l'épanouissement de centaines d'enfants.

The "Structures Sonores Baschet" rest on a novel acoustic hitherto unknown in the fabrication of music instruments. The vibrating part is a metal rod embedded onto a heavy plate. The pitch of the note is fixed by the rods' length and position of a balance-weight at a crux of the vibration.
Vibration is caused by:
either by percussion which gives the" Structures Sonores" family its percussive qualities multi or mono tones percussions structures,
or either by a glass rod (which works like a bow) gently stroked with wet fingers : the CRISTAL BASCHET.
We have been working for years with the Structures Sonores and during that time have forged a strong relationship with the Baschet brothers. This can be seen through the development of the instruments, their creation and continual striving to improve their manufacture, our high level of educational workshops and the satisfaction of hundreds of young people who have taken part.
