From an ex-(adopted) Edinburgh laddie--glad you found this brilliant track and are keeping the soul tradition alive--I was there when this came out, and remember a bunch of local bands playing with this style. Hope there are more now--Scots got soul!

I used to play in a band in Ann Arbor in '70-71 playing harp and singing, and this cat would routinely come down and blow me completely offstage. He is one hell of a harp player.

Anybody remember the Boogie Kings Concert in Detroit at the Grande Ballroom--Hooker, the Heat, and Savoy Brown jamming until 3 AM or something like that--one of the best concerts I've ever been at.
