Once again,the end game incorrect although this does show the recommended method of cocking and how the buttplate is properly positioned once the firing pin is cocked. The buttplate is supposed to be used against the shoulder. And the propellant going off kicked like the dickens.

This clears up how the firing pin is cocked, but nothing else. The butt is I think supposed to be turned and "telescoped" forward allowing it to be placed on the shoulder. The firing pin remains cocked.
