Quick update!

I graduated this June from Stanford University and now I am moving up north to Portland, OR to pursue my career. If you're around Portland... drop me a message, I'd like to know some people in the area :) And you could watch me perform live in front of you, too :p

I am both a passionate engineer and musician. In fact my affection to music has shaped my career goal. It is the main reason for me to take depth courses in multimedia (audio, video, and image) processing. I really enjoy my learning experience.

Both as an engineer and as a musician, I LOVE great products. I find it very pleasing if people love the products I deliver. These products could be either a musical work, a component of a software that I write, a sound system that I test, etc.

It's been great so far. I get many heartwarming comments from people who listen to my songs. I also learn what people actually would love to listen to, especially from constructive criticisms.

Now that I identify myself more as an engineer than a musician and I have only 24 hours a day, I have to say no to all requests to write a sheet music of my arrangement. Writing one means writing all, thus I must pick between writing all or writing none. Considering how I identify myself, it's easy for me to decide to write none.

However, I give everyone all rights to copy my works. I don't care if someone transcribes my arrangement, claims it as his/hers, and sells it on eBay. Copying down my notes is easy, copying down my expression is a bit hard but still doable, but copying down creativity is impossible.
