About this user

Holmbush Records is the creative lovechild of the Phelamongerat. They are a gaggle of creative types who grew up together in Exeter and have spread their Holmbush seeds all across the country. Holmbush was the hang out, the den, the hide away on the edge of the city in our formative years and so all our endeavours will forever be attached to it. The place for creative misdemeanours and putting the world to rights.

Over time we got out shit together. We learnt how to put on sublime little festivals/gatherings, befriended some other creative people who were actually really good (and nice too!) and started making music that was interesting to listen to whilst still being a bit, well y'know, a bit weird.

We put on a pretty astonishing Holmbush Festival 2007 and worked with the AvantRuralists on Wattsfest 2008. We are about to start selling records through our record division at www.holmbushrecords.co.uk and on this Youtube page you'll find some videos that are records of a time and a place and a moment for free.
