HollyShorts Film Festival (HSFF) is an annual film festival showcasing the best and brightest short films from around the globe. HollyShorts is devoted to the advancement filmmakers through screenings, Q&A sessions and networking events. The HollyShorts Film Festival showcases the top short films produced 30-minutes or less. The 2008 festival takes place August 7-10 in Hollywood, CA. The opening night celebration will feature the Hollywood premiere of Josh Brolin's short film "X" and will take place at the Egyptian Theatre in conjunction with The American Cinematheque. The Festival's screenings will also take place that weekend at Laemmle Theaters Sunset 5.
