About this user
I'm a small business owner working in property management and my husband, Richard, is CEO for Master Tag in Montague. I have worked at Master Tag, which manufactures horticultural tags and worked with my family business, Bolema Lumber, a retail hardware and lumber company that also deals with property management. I received my degree in business from Michigan State University in 1981. I have two beautiful daughters, Morgan and Taylor who have recently graduated from college.
I was a three-term White River Township Trustee and a former Montague Area Public School board member. I was also appointed by Governor John Engler to the MUSTFA Board.
Being involved in the community in making Michigan a better place to live is very important to me. I have served and continue to serve on a number of boards including the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, White Lake Community Fund, Hackley Hospital Cornerstone Foundation, Tanglewood Park Project for Sr. Citizens, West Shore Symphony Orchestra, White Lake Recylcers, Lebanon Lutheran Church and am a member of Muskegon Rotary. I have received the White Lake Chamber of Commerce Athena Award in 1999 which recognizes businesswomen and community leaders. I was also awarded in 1999 the American Hometown Leadership Award from the National Association of Townships after being nominated by her fellow White River Township Board members. Along with the Hometown Leadership Award I was presented $5,000 for White River Township.
