In every rink across the country.

Playing the sport of Hockey, and then teaching the game to beginners, has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

The history of the National Hockey League is a vast, fascinating subject for any sports fan. It features many truly great stories, legendary arena's, and a cast of very colorful characters! Hopefully this channel can convey a small part of the GREATNESS of the AMAZING SPORT OF HOCKEY!

As a young player, and later as an adult, I have been honored to be a member of 7 (Seven) different Championship winning Hockey teams.
I was thrilled to play Hockey in the legendary "Shrine on Carleton Street" in Toronto:
MAPLE LEAF GARDENS - (4 times).

From 1991 to 1997, I was a member of a charity Hockey team. We played against Toronto's "CityTv" team, and raised money and toys for the Chum/City Christmas Wish; An annual fundraising event. Three of those games were played in MAPLE LEAF GARDENS.
Just 2 Hockey teams, 1 cameraman from CityTv Television, to record the highlights for the newscast that night... And zero fans in the arena. Just us.
A childhood dream come true.
No one involved will forget those times!

In 2007, I worked in the Hockey scenes in the Mike Myers movie "The Love Guru", as an NHL linesman. The film was shot at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and the GM Arena in Oshawa. The experience was, for the most part, great! (The actual movie, on the other hand, was a resounding flop!)

My Favorite Players are: Steve Yzerman,
Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Mike Modano, Mats Sundin, Darryl Sittler, and Bobby Orr.
My Favorite Teams are: Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Stars,
& the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions: The Pittsburgh Penguins.
My favorite current players are SIDNEY CROSBY and Jonathan Toews.

It's my personal wish that EVERY KID could get a chance to play Hockey, and enjoy the game the way I have been blessed to do.
