Depuis tout petit, je passe le plus clair de mon temps dans la lune. J'en ai d'ailleurs fait mon métier, de la Lune et des étoiles : je suis astronome. Mais ces rêves m'ont mené également vers une autre passion : la musique. Voilà pourquoi j'ai choisi pour nom d'artiste Moon Rambler, le promeneur de la Lune. J'ai commencé à apprendre la guitare il y a six ans et demie, surtout par moi-même. J'ai appris à chanter dans la foulée, seul au début, puis avec l'aide de Carine Reggiani. Étant petit, je trouvais que siffler était une chose intrigante, c'est pourquoi je m'y suis mis très tôt. J'ai vécu un an en Écosse, à Glasgow en 2005-2006, où je me suis nourri de folk et de sonorités de la langue anglaise. J'ai commencé à composer et écrire des chansons, en anglais, en 2008. J'avais besoin de décrire mes rêves, émotions, souvenirs, idées. Mes chansons parlent de la Nature, d'étoiles, de souvenirs, d'émotions, d'utopie. Depuis l'été 2010, j'ai fait une vingtaine de concerts, et j'ai enregistré un premier EP, Wild Lullaby, avec la précieuse aide de Pierre-Marie Sangouard, le chanteur/guitariste d'Adrugan, au studio Gônelab. C'est lors d'un Folkfest, mon premier concert, que Pierre-Marie m'a entendu et m'a poussé à continuer.

Moon rambler's music is soft and cheerful (sometimes melancholic). Yannick spent one year in Glasgow, feeding themselves with folk music and started to play the guitar and singing a few years ago and songwritting recently. He is an astronomer, then some stars and planets found their homes in the songs lyrics, that speak about what one can found in his mind (which is not really organised, which is normal for a guy having the head wandering on the Moon).
