Well,The Monkees were acting young people, and had to learn how to play because of the success of their tv show. For many years I searched for this song, anywhere else but at The Monkees, and finally found out who wrote it - Spencer Davis. Made sense.

As very, very young hippie, I found that this song was out of stile next to all the psycadelic - simply coun´t understand what made them play like that! But the sound af the song came back one morning as I woke up. Have´nt been aware of how much I loved this song, all trough the years.
