Wow- you've done some serious listening. All these tutorials on youtube and all the reading doesn't replace a good ear for listening. All of your stuff sounds authentic. Even Beatle cover bands make huge mistakes on chords and strums.

The comment he made about playing "cleanly"- look for Norweigian Wood- he does 3 takes and actually all of them are "dirty"- really original sound.

Big Bend at Lime Rock has two types of pavement with different traction properties. Very touchy getting on the gas exting this turn. If you've never been there and tried it, you know not of which you speak.

You guys referring to the sync- these guys were CONSTANTLY practicing- I guess at the beginning they really enjoyed each others company and recognized each others talent. Very special.

@liambirch- defmode is right. The Beatles studied the Beach Boys music. Brian Wilson is well known as a musical genius on par with or even more so than Paul or John. Pet Sounds was revolutionary album and the Beatles had nothing to counter it with until Sgt. Pepper.

First time I heard this was as the credits were rolling on "21 Grams", a Sean Penn movie. I saw the movie in the theatre when it came out in 03, but never noticed the tune until I saw the credits scrolling again on HBO the other day.

@1964GuitarCovers------ most turbo cars with a blow off valve vented to atmosphere make a huge "whoosh" upon throttle lift. Doesn't have to be in a specific gear, but it must be under boost conditions. The Audi is the only one I know of that actually "chirps".

PLEASE!!! With any Audi I5 turbo video, don't play any music!! The sound of that motor is just awesome. You don't need or want any music. I hardly used the stereo in my urq, even on long trips.
