Here are videos I find on YouTube that relate to the history courses I teach. These include old films, documentaries, and history in contemporary popular culture.
CAVEAT EMPTOR: All titles and descriptions are from the people who posted them. Their presence on this channel does not constitute an endorsement on my part. Many of these videos come with uninformed, inappropriate comments too. Videos depicting the Third Reich, for example, often attract Hitler fans---and are even posted by them. While I find the survival or resurgence of fascist and racist ideologies on the radical right wing highly problematic, the videos themselves are still worth viewing. Keep in mind, though, that even well-meaning contributors of videos often do not provide adequate source information. In other words, although this channel contains interesting images for the history student, it is no substitute for research.
