The Royal Armouries has discontinued both their Interpretive and educational programs, which includes their jousting tournaments. No more will there be jousting at the Royal Armouries Museum Leeds England. This is very saddening to us.

On the bright side though, WorldJoust will be the ONLY presenter of Royal Armouries Jousting in the world. We are sad for our friends at the RA, but are proud to inherit and continue their Jousting legacy.

We have an affiliated tournament in the east, on September 3, 4, 5, 2011 (Saturday - Monday) in LaChute, Quebec Canada. This event is called the "Tournois du Lys d'Argent" and is produced by Equus Productions of Montreal. WorldJoust co-founder Jeffrey Hedgecock will compete with 5 other men-at-arms.

Our next California tournament, the "Tournament of the Phoenix" is scheduled for October 21, 22, 23, 2011 near San Diego CA, USA.

This will be a full weekend of excitement, featuring a no-holds-barred competition between 6 Knights accruing scores in two competitive jousting sessions each day, pollaxe foot combat, and a mounted club melee'. Three members of the Order of the Crescent will each pair up with another competitor, then face each other in a 3-team battle of knightly skill and fortitude.

There will also be demonstrations throughout each day- vendors, exhibitors, food and more! Fun for the entire family. Come for a couple of hours, come for the whole day-- you're sure to be entertained, educated and thrilled by the multitude of activities and displays.
