About 1st Take - Historical DVDs
1st Take was established by Dave Rogers, a history graduate, and Andy Warren, a cameraman and technician, in 1993. Since this time we have worked closely with historical societies and specialist authors to create a range of products unrivalled in the West of England. Historical Films After gaining local success with historial videos on Yate and Chipping Sodbury, we continued this historical theme by looking at other areas in and around Bristol, Bath and surrounding towns. We then broadened our horizons to include subjects such as Aviation, Steam Trains, Buses, Trams, Speedway, Motoring, Shipping and The Second World War.
