Wow, I have opus 290 installed in my house. The keydesk with the stop controls sure do bring back memories, when I played it for church in the 1970's. It is good to see that this still exsists.

Wonderful sound! Our church had a 1897 Hook and Hastings organ in it until the fire of 1935. Everything ended up in the basement.

Wonderfully warm open diapason! I love it. Give me this kind of organ any day over a neo baroque screamer. Glad you keep this organ going.

Great sound. Try to open up more, and on notes that are sustained, put a bit of vibrato on it. It will help you ( or anyone ) stay on pitch a bit better. Keep singing.

Good luck on your tuning. If the action was not aligned properly, then the bass notes( others too for that matter) would not sound as they should. This looks to be an old piano; perhaps the bass windings have dirt in them? If that is the case, time for new strings there. Rust is not a good thing...
