Lenny made the timpani sound slightly rushed but nevertheless- One of the top five climax' in all symphonic music- right up there with the Sibelius 2nd, the Bruckner 8th, Mahler 8th and Mahler 2nd

@wedge4hire Absolutely agree...Lavern was the first to bring attention to the unfairness of the white cover records of the great black Doo Wops in the mid fifties. She was one of the founding women of R&R and will never be forgotten by real fans.
