Attention GM 3.1L 3.4L and 3.5L Engine Owners
Newer versions of these engines don't make this sound because they have a special insulation in the block.

ill tell you what this guys lifters obviously are fucked so its really noisy. All 3.1L's are a little noisy on cold starts but once at operating temperature and the oil has circulated they are very quite and efficient.
