@jimbob32292 well said man, two of the best guitarists of time man, they shaped what alot of metal is today in my eyes. Technical ability just expands what you can do on the guitar, if anything, it can make your playing more interesting and creative, because your not limited.

Not bad man, id work on the faster sections if i was you, seemed a wee bit off, good job on keeping the rhythm clean tho, good job on the first verse section, been playin this song myself and took me a bit to get that clean, will be putting up a cover once ma camera is fixed, good luck man. :)

@PlacidDragon personally i love petris vocals, particularly in ensiferums latest album, but i definately agree that jari has more versatility in his vocals. Imo jari is next to untouchable.

@abrookes1985 this guy has more talent in his pinky than kirk hammett and dave murray. they may have been major innovators in metal but many have surpassed them, loomis being one of them. By all means go shag james hetfield if its him your more into.

@TCFBbob yea, anything that requires big stretches particularly on the lower strings cant really be done if your guitar is lowslung. I know it looks cooler, but most virtuouso guitarists do what rusty does.
