Complete Twenty-one years is cause for celebration for any professional who acts in the artistic and musical.
However, reaching that mark playing Heavy Metal in Brazil is something that very few have.
Following the steps and facing the same obstacles of the pioneers of the scene of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) Post-Rock In Rio
the Hyksos began its activities in 1990.

With a current Anvito Marco (bass and vocals), Antonio Sabba Nilmon and Son (guitars) and Marcello Ledd (drums)
the group is in full swing in the composition of their third CD, still untitled. The work,
should be recorded in the studio Mr. Som (SP), again with the production of Marcello Pompeu and Heros Trench, two specialists in style and members of the legendary Korzus.

The sound played by the quartet was being shaped by references to names like Slayer,
Anthrax, SOD, Napalm Death, Testament, Agnostic Front and Biohazard.
Blending thrash metal with hardcore, now with more intensity than the previous work,
The group has been getting good response from the media. To express all its power and aggressive sound,
the Hyksos comes to issues like religion, politics, personality conflicts and human daily themes in their lyrics.

Being active and being on stage is part of the personality of the Rio group,
that throughout his career he played alongside big names in national and international scene,
among them: DRI, Mercyful Fate, Exodus, Anthrax, Destruction, Napalm Death, Obituary, Dying Fetus and Korzus.
The shows have great interaction and the public has elected some newer songs like "Face to Face"
"Technologic Pain" and "Patria Amada" among his favorites.

Two official albums in twenty years may seem minor, but the Hyksos is struggling with its own forces from the first record,
Demo-Tape "The Face of the Abyss", launched in 1991. Until he could get to their debut, "Eatin 'Concrete" (2004),
We were two more, "Suicide Illusion" (Demo-Tape 1995) and "Hyksos" (Demo CD, 1999) until his second record, the acclaimed "Technologic Pain" (2007).
What brought the band their first tour of Europe in October 2009 which was released a Split-CD that had its entire pressing sold out in just six months.
Now the band begins recording their third album, which will leave at the end of 2011 and
relying on the willpower of Anvito Marco Antonio Saba, Son and Marcello Nilmon Ledd this story will continue writing for many years.
