What's with everyone hiding around here? I understand that some people live to harass others, but hiding yourself and isolating yourself isn't the solution. It's total bull! I can't even respond to some of the nice comments I've gotten because people want to go and hide themselves and make messages friends only and not allow comments...

Oh well. If the lack of any kind of community and social structure doesn't implode YouTube, the terrible banner ads being posted over the bottom of the videos will.

Something about me. Geez, where to begin? I'm a novelist, and I write horror books. I won't tell you which ones, as I am not my advertising agency, nor my publisher. As a horror writer, I often turn to pop culture here on the Internet for sparks of inspiration, and this causes me to view many of your interesting paranormal videos.

I'm a very skeptical open minded person, which means I'm always searching for the truth, but I'm not gullible enough to fall for cheap hoaxes and other detritus that seems to populate the Internet culture when it comes to things of that nature. I also find it alarming how many people profess to believe in something, but cannot handle any kind of question or rational discourse that calls the subject into question. An intelligent mind always questions what they see, always, until nothing is left to question. Most people see a question or any kind if discourse as a personal attack, and then I get messages in my inbox full of swear words.

If you are unwilling to explain why your UFO looks like a balloon or why there is a video editing artifact in your ghost video, you probably shouldn't expect to be taken seriously.

Paranormal subjects aside, I also use YouTube to play music videos, view informative interviews, and watch your amazing "stupid human tricks." More recently, I have found YouTube an excellent way to supplement my own daily educational regimen, as there are many movies here of an educational and historic nature.

And that is what I am doing on YouTube. I will likely not ever post a video under this account, and if you want to know more about me you'll have to find me elsewhere.
