I understand what you try to say. But the reason why Japan and Germany had not so good teamwork is that both had very few in common as far as their political goals. Remember, Japan fought Germany in WWI, and the old wounds did not heal.

You forget about the fact that FDR and his administration placed the oil embarg on Japan and sent the ultimatum to give up all the colonies and territories Japan had fought hard to obtain.

There is also an article in Wikipedia on "Japanese-Germany Relations" and in subtopic of "Stalling coordination of war plans" says that Hitler had ask Japan to consider attacking Russia throughout 1940 and 1941 in preparation of "Operation Barbarossa" .

Hitler had no intention to engage a war with the US. Stop bullshittinig. FDR wanted to help Churchill's England, but the Americans believed in neutrality. And Hitler was smart enough not to be provoked by FDR. Thus, FDR had no choice but to enter WWII from back door.
