Charles was a wonderful acting teacher, I studied with him at his school THE FACULTY back in the late 70's...I met my friend Lu Leonard there she was a co-owner and the school was filled with wonderful teachers..Ken McMillan, Tom Troupe, Michael Holmes, etc...old school actors, it's hard to ex...

This kid was talented and smart...he should have been looked after...

Yes!...THE LEMON DROP KID!...I grew up in Chicago and this was a holiday favorite back in the 60's & 70's...along with MR. SOFT TOUCH, CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT, and MIRCLE ON 34TH STREET !!!!

How about Christmas In Connecticut, Mr. Soft Touch, and The Lemon Drop Kid!...these where films they showed in Chicago during the holidays back in the 60's and 70's...I would love to see them again!!

I spent Christmas in the Persian Gulf back in 1990/1991, I was on the USS WORDEN CG-18 so I know how you feel...a lot of folks don't remember that war...but I do know what it's like to be in combat and away from home...my dad and uncles were in WWll so I relate to this film in many ways....
