By the end of the GA Superman was bouncing from planet to planet, time traveling, and showing many feats that actually compare to SA Superman.
GA Superman strength was in the 100+ tons range and he could run and react at hypersonic speed.
Also I have all the Superman comics(in downloaded digital form) from the Golden Age to the Modern Age but I just don't have time to read them all, lol.
I started reading the Golden Age comics and Superman was just BADASS back then, he was totally heartless to bad guys and sometimes refuses to save them in an event that they may die and even comments that their deaths were well deserved. He was freaking unstoppable too, the concept of kryptonite and red sun radiation hadn't been introduced yet and the only real visible limitation on his powers was just what the plot called for. Also he trains too in his own personal gym too so all the DBZ fanboys who say Superman never trained in his life can just choke on that. :P
