Been playing the piano since the age of 6 (on and off).

I got into it thanks to my Dad's encouragement. He was able to learn a bit of the piano in his youth, but wasn't fortunate enough to have a piano, so he practiced playing on a piece of paper drawn on to resemble piano keys :o(

I was lucky enough to have a piano and at first I didn't like it much but I'm glad that I kept on and now it's one of my most favorite things to do.
