HepC.tv is created by Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated.
Vertex works with leading researchers, doctors, public health experts and other partners to help transform the lives of people with serious diseases.
The goal of HepC.tv is to educate and inspire people about the growing epidemic of hepatitis C through engaging, educational content. Hepatitis C is the leading cause of liver cancer in the U.S. Nearly 4 million Americans are infected with hepatitis C. Three million Americans (75%) don't even know they're infected.
Vertex is leading a movement to encourage more people to get tested for hepatitis C. The majority of people with hepatitis C are "baby boomers" born between 1946 and 1964. If you are a baby boomer, or just want to learn about hepatitis C risk factors and getting tested, visit the Vertex website, www.FindHepC.com. If you are already diagnosed, you can learn more about hepatitis C at the Vertex website, www.BetterToKnowC.com.
