On October 24, 2004, on the way to the Martinsville Speedway, a plane crashed that took the lives of ten people from Hendrick Motorsports. We will never forget those ten and they will always be in our hearts.

5. 1994 Brickyard 400. Jeff Gordon scores a win in the inaugural Winston Cup race at the Brickyard and in front of the hometown crowd.
4. 1997 Daytona 500. Jeff Gordon wins the Daytona 500. Teammates Terry Labonte and Ricky Craven finish 2nd and 3rd for a 1-2-3 finish while Rick Hendrick was ill.
3. 2008 LifeLock 400. Dale Earnhardt Jr. breaks a 76 race winless streak and scores his first points paying win for Hendrick Motorsports.
2. 1984 Sovran Bank 500 (Martinsville). Geoff Bodine drives the #5 Chevrolet to victory lane and gives All-Star Racing (Hendrick Motorsports) its first NASCAR Winston Cup Series win in their eighth start.
1. 2004 Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500. Jimmie Johnson scores an emotional victory one week after the plane crash that took the lives of the Hendrick ten.
