Fortunately I am not ill (however, a little crazy maybe)... I care for my parents who suffer from dementia.
I made the unfortunate mistake of reaching out for help from our local health system and all I have received is incorrect information and frustration.
The fact that it is easier for me to care for my parents than deal with the local health "authority" is staggering.
The rumor that Canada has one of the best medical systems does not apply to our aging seniors... our most important of people.
Anyways... sorry to go on but I was so touched by your lovely comment.
I travelled through Italy in the summer of 1978... one of the most beautiful places in the world... and the people, kind and generous... I hope to return one day.
