Music:
Classical, sacred, jazz, oldies, musicals, world. My musical tastes are pretty eclectic. In my opinion, the best music has already been written & recorded. Here's a sampling of some of my favorite music. Classical: Tchaikovsky is my favorite composer overall, but there are so many other greats! Sacred: I love traditional hymns, spirituals, & gospel songs. Jazz: Everything from ragtime to bebop is cool. I like Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Charlie Parker, etc. Oldies: The fabulous 50s rule in my rock 'n' roll kingdom! Some of my favorite artists include Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Ritchie Valens, the Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Paul Anka, & Eddie Cochran. See you at the hop! Musicals: Rodgers & Hammerstein. World: Traditional French chanson is so beautiful!
Books:
The Bible, Anne of Green Gables, historical nonfiction
