Hey, my dad is converting a barn into a home in Velarde, NM. He just came back from two weeks of construction there. Nope, can't make the Free Flow in Abq. I wish I cud. The people there ended up making me feel so incredably good last year. Many started off disliking "this Tx dude visiting their turf and asking why i didn't just stay home. why was i throwing it down in Abq?" By the end of the comp, those same guys were cheering me on and giving me high 5's. The judges openly announced that i had made a mark there and won some hearts of the locals and they said they looked forward to seeing me this year. So, it sucks that i can't join the ABQ crowd. There are some awsome cool skaters there. My best friend at the championships was Kevin Vigil. I loved doing things with that guy. He is a great skater and more importantly a fun friendly dude.
