My name is Suzy, I am 54 years young with 3 great sons ranging from age 26 to 33, 2 of which are married so am also blessed with daughters now! My heart belongs to my grandson, my oldest son's boy. Living long is my only option. I love my family way too much to die young. So my health is important to me and why I love cooking.
Heartsafecooking was developed to help you in making healthy choices when preparing meals for yourself and your loved ones. If there is one single piece of information I would like to stress most, it is "Dieting is not Healthy". Individuals who jump on to the roller coaster of fad dieting, end up losing some weight initially. The downfall is most of these diets are not improving your health nor are they teaching you to live in a world of temptations for a lifetime. These diets are only temporary quick weight loss measures that rob you of important and necessary daily nutrients that your body needs. Also this type of weight loss, in every single instance, is also only temporary. What I want to teach you is how to change your eating habits for a lifetime of improved health including lowering your cholesterol, your sodium intake and how to make healthier choices when cooking for your family. Eating is something we all must do but eating right is something most do not do. Here on Heartsafecooking, I hope to change your life for the better. I want to show you how cooking at home can be fun, easy and rewarding.
