Riding in patriotic red, white and blue; the Heartland Twisters are an equestrian drill team who perform a four to five minute "American" drill and also a longer six to seven minute heart-stopping rodeo routine to upbeat music. Carrying the American flag, Kansas flag, as well as all the flags of our armed forces, we Twisters ride in honor of our service men and women.

Currently there are eleven of us crazy cowgirls, ranging in ages from ten years old and up. We Twisters put faith in God, our Country, and the amazing horses we ride! Aside from narrowly missing one another at break-neck speeds, the Heartland Twisters also ride in numerous parades, act as pivots for grand entries and run sponsor flags at rodeos.

Originating from the Bit & Spur Saddle Club of Chanute, KS over thirty years ago, the Heartland Twisters perform in events across Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. In the past, the Twisters have also been keynote performers at Equifest of Kansas and the Kansas State Fair.
