Let's get healthy together! This is actually very difficult for me. I have never had any problems with my weight until after my Mom died & my dr experimented by putting me on med after med. Didn't do anything but make me gain a lot of weight! My Mom was still in the ground & I was even more miserable! I don't like taking pictures now etc. So this is a step out of my comfort zone...in effort to get to my "healthy goal."

Healthy Goals :

1. Lose 25 lbs over June & July 2008
2. Change jobs by the end of 2008

Week 1 = - 2.5 (5/25 - 5/31) 1000-1200 calories / day

Week 2 = - 2.5 (6/01 - 6/07) 1000 - 1200 calories / day

Week 3 = - 2.0 (6/08 - 6/14) 1000 - 1200 calories / day

Week 4 = - 0.0 (6/15 - 6/21) Chicago

Week 5 = - 0.0 (6/22 - 6/28) Tired all week - One Official good day of working out. A few days of headaches that I haven't had for a long time. 1000 - 1600 calories / day

Week 6 = - 2.5 then + 4.5 = + 2 (6/29 - 7/5)

I seem to be having trouble. I could understand why I didn't lose anything in Chicago. It would have been nice to have lost at least one pound last week though. So this week I am trying the Fruit Flush for 3 days. It is suppose to get your liver to burn fat 3x faster. (It says lose 10 lbs in 3 days) Then you follow it up with a diet that consists of things like a fruit smoothie, fruit, chicken breast, salad, vegetables. I try not to fall into the pit of fad type diets. However, this one doesn't seem unhealthy at all, tastes pretty good/good for summer & has that jump start quality that I feel like I need right now. I also happen to have tons of fruit so I am giving it a try.

15.5 lbs to go this month! Can I do it? Should we place bets? I would really like to do it over the next few weeks but I don't know if I have that much total control over my body. I can try though!!!

Week 7 = 0 so far. Out of a 9.5 lb loss I now only have a 5 lb loss. (7/6 - 7/12)

Week 8 (7/13 - 7/19) :

I continue to force myself to diet and workout, workout, workout but so many negative things are happening combined w/the gain back of 4.5 intead of 4.5 add. loss I am too depressed to make a video.

Between 7/13 & 7/14 - 2.5 lbs
Between 7/14 & 16 - 1 lb
7/18 Walked 3.15 miles & only 845 calories - 2.5 lbs in one day

Week 8 Total - 6 lbs so far

Week 9 (7/20 - 7/26) Up & Down Monitoring everything I eat/low calorie & working out daily. Not getting anywhere.
