the home depot i go to sells 4 foot cut offs from damagen wood for .51 cents each... i get 4x4s, 2x4s plywood, shelfing boards... all sorts of stuff. I love raiding that bin!

is it safe to use/ burn the chemically treated ones? what about stuff like pine? dont you have to clean the chimney out more with all the creosote from burning soft , sappy wood?

how do you know how much to cut it? is there a formula or do you just cut and hope it works?

whats modified about it? the longer bar? i got the same saw but stuck an 18" bar on it... great little saw, runs tuff!

i think its safer to fell with a 50cc or higher saw and then cut up the felled tree with a smaller saw. i use my husky 142 and my emergency, tiny mccullac 16" saw for branches. sure theyve kicked back but a lot less than a bigger saw. My only thing on this vid was, he never gets into "what to do ...

whats the difference what saw you use, as long as it cuts the wood? its like saying you'd do a better job taking a bolt out with a snap on wrench than with a craftsman wrench....lol

I use CA glue for some of the pens i make, never tried wiping it on something thats not spinning on a lathe but im sure it would still work out, that zebra wood will look awesome with a shiny ...
