This is such minor contact. It wasn't even much of a hit. Marchand wasn't even looking anywhere near Umberger when his elbow hit his head. (Watch the slow-mo) He was looking directly at the puck in the other direction. Minor penalty should have been called but nothing else.

That was a CLEAN hit. Elbow was tucked, he lead through with his shoulder and obviously hip. Hall's head was down and Doughty happens to be the taller man.
