The mission of HPIRC is to increase parent involvement to improve their children's academic achievement and to strengthen school-family-community partnerships in meeting childrens educational needs.

HPIRC, or the Hawaii Parent Information Resource Center, is a partnership of not-for-profit family centers, the Hawaii Department of Education (HDOE), and targeted schools on the islands of Oahu and Hawaii. HPIRC provides resources, training, and technical assistance statewide, particularly targeting Title 1 and immigrant communities.

Parents And Children Together (PACT) is the HPIRC fiscal agent and serves as the Board of Directors for the HPIRC Program.
