@lesneyvshotwheels cai on most modern cars will do nothing except add noise. unless you have a computer re-flash.

@gtiapr3 good answer, but the engine should not ping at all. however, the computer program will compensate for the impending ping and will result in a loss of power. put in 93 oct. in a modern engine rated for 87 and watch all you efforts go down the tubes. but you wont hurt it
