Conference on the Constitutional Convention
On Sep. 24-25, people from across America and across the political spectrum convened at Harvard Law School to discuss the advisability and feasibility of organizing towards a Constitutional Convention. The conference was co-chaired by HLS Professor Lawrence Lessig, director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University and founder of Change Congress, and Mark Meckler, co-founder and a National Coordinator for Tea Party Patriots.

On September 16 and 17, the HLS-Brookings Project on Law and Security, in partnership with the Harvard National Security Journal held a conference titled "Law, Security, and Liberty after 9/11: Looking to the Future." The conference addressed questions of national and international security through an interdisciplinary lens, bringing together academics, government experts, civil society, media, and other interested actors.
