About this user

I received my BA from an online college. I graduated with honors, and was in disbelief. Having growing up in the worse places in Flint Michigan, being dyslexic, and being the only one my family to even go to college. I found this an amazing accomplishment. I am now working on getting my Masters, and then on to my Ph.D. I am going to one of the best Psychologists in my field.
My family and I live in a small college town in Michigan until my husband gets his BA in Engineering and Business in May of next year. We have been married for over 18 years. We have been blessed with an amazing daughter. She is my joy, and she knows everyday that she is a gift. We were told we could not have any kids, I am so glad the Doctors were wrong. She is now 12 years old. She is so very smart, and since the age of four, she has wanted to be an Egyptologist. I am sure she will go to Egypt one day and make a name for herself. Now that both of her parents have gone to college, this makes it even more likely, that she will see her dreams turn into reality. In October of last year she was giving a trip to Egypt by her roll model Dr. Zahi Hawass. When we went it was truly a trip of life time. She is now working on a book, about her experience in Egypt, and how kids will love to visit places they have only seen on TV, or read in a book. I home school her now, and find it a most rewarding, and challenging experience. I am disabled, and I am in chronic pain 24 hours a day, from the waste down, on the left side of my body. My back has to disks that are pushing on the spinal cord. I have nerve damage that has made my legs and feet have what is called painful poly neuropathy.
In January, I went through my 6th miscarriage. I was very sick with this for over a month. Then my dad got sick and was in the hospital for over 3 months. I lost him on the 25 th of May, he was a great man and he was so proud of me. I am now healing, and trying to get over this lost.
