There are practitioners that believe that music is a manifestation of calculated impulses summoned from the deepest rivers of the soul. Harry Moraga is of the same mental pool.
Harry started his musical passions early on writing, performing and recording with his first ensembles that spanned a time of almost 10 years of experience. After the end leg of that journey, Harry looked at his abilities as a songwriter and decided to broaden and excel his skills with the insight from private vocal/guitar lessons at the Thayer Orchestra Music Conservatory. Once a personal wall was hit on that educational route, he decided that the only growth personally and musically would have to happen with the discipline to study at a college level. Harry attended McNally Smith College of Music at the twin cities in MN. There, his mind shifted and his consciousness put under a microscope. He studied under some of the best teachers and individuals spanning from the likes of Gary Rue, Sean McMahon and Dessa Darling. The ways in which his compositional classes unfolded are the results the he would like to mirror and instill in his student and lessons.
Harry has a belief and technique to his own personal approach to his songs. He believes life's spectrum between the high peaks of joy and the utter horrors of sorrow contain the magnetic fuels that connect humans within the catalyst of music. The focus on the multiple emotional angles is the understanding that he's convinced intuitively guide the theory and non-theory approach into compositional writing. At the end of the day, Harry hopes that he could become the medium between the aspiring songwriter and the feeling that they have full permission to embrace who they are personally which will define who they are musically.
