This channel is for an informative and insightful view of vedic culture through Guru, Sadhu and Sastra as per vedic pramana and not mere sentimentalism.

My name is Haridham and I am in initiated in the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya through Iskcon. Also known as the Hare Krsna Movement. Iskcon as an organization has been around for 40 years in North America however the philosophy it presents is eternel. I will present videos which will be informative, instructive, thought provoking, humorous and hopefully enlightning and insightful.

There will be many other types of videos and I hope you will all enjoy. This is channel is not officially associate with Iskcon and the thoughts and opinions are my own.

Well I am originaly from fiji Islands, now living in canada for the last 18 years.

I am a simple guy, I believe in simple living and Higher thinking. I am a soft, gentle, funny, kind, charismatic guy, i am sometimes told I am toooo nice. Wow, talk about tooting your own horn. lol. I also love making new friends so dont be shy.

I love Krsna consciousness as that is the key thing in my life. It is a key aspect of my life, and I am trying to live the practice that I preach and its a work in progress. I also volunteer on Krishna.com

I am also currently going to school to become a counsellor and I hope to make that my career soon. Cant wait.

	v1660 (4 months ago) hi. i read some of your comments on "zeitgeist part1 debunked? acharya responds". i feel sorry for you. but its the same thing happening over and over again. someone makes an honest polite comment and if hercules(yes, he is still there insulting everyone who doesnt agree). cant make a proper response, he keeps asking for credentials(as if we need a letter of recommendations to be on youtube), tells us us to read her work(sorry i dont donate money to people i disagree with), or just let us know how fanatic/stupid we are.

	haridham (7 months ago) ishqhaito In the vedic literature there are many things mentioned. Most of the vedas are in the karma kanda section. Basically meaning the vedas are there for advancement in material life but then eventually going to the platform of devotion to God. THere aremany things you can and cant do. Meat eating is ultimatly forbidden, gambling is ultimatly forbidden, intoxication is ultimatly forbidden, illicit sex is ultimatly forbidden. Why worship the devas(demigods) and why ultimatly you have to give it up to worship the one supreme Lord Krsna/Vishnu How important is it to have a guru. How important is to understand sastra with the guidence of a guru. Thats just to name a few.
