I have heard bad stories about Taurus cust service. People report that they can take months to return the gun and it sometimes comes back in worse condition than it was sent.

I am going to have my gunsmith fix it. I think it would be a great gun if it could be made reliable.

Thanks for the reviews on this model. I had been considering it myself but I think I will wait or shop for a K 22.

In the end, S & W did a class act but it bothers me that they sent the gun back to you when it was not in working order. This calls their pride of workmanship into question.

I do plan to get it working but I'd rather pay my gunsmith to do it. I am hoping that with some work there is a good gun in there. I love the design and the versatility. If not, I will simply repair it and sell it.

I bought the very model she is holding. I got it last Sat. Three days later, the trigger broke after firing about 1200 rounds.

A couple more comments:

I love the look and the design of this gun. The grip is far too big for my hand. I have med/sm hands. Can't fault the gun for that but something to keep in mind. I will have to make a set of custom grips for mine.

The SA trigger is quite crisp. The DA is very heavy...
