Hi, I am DJ Knight

I am a DJ and Music Producer. I have been interested in DJing since 2000 but only got my first set of CD decks at the age of 14 and my first vinyl decks at 15. Up until then I had been using a computer program called OtsJuke DJ but never liked computer mixing!

I started producing music in 2007 when I had already been studying music technology in college for 2 years. First real productions were 'Inspiration' for a shropshire group called 'Shebangg' and making a remix of it 3 months later with my college mate, DJ Yuzi.

In 2008 I produced two tracks for a Herefordshire Alternative Rock Band called 'Short Fuse'. Though this was for a course project, the tracks produced were handed to band and handed out as demos.

In January 2009 I made a Scouse House remix of Scott Brown Vs. Rab S' track 'Now IS The Time' and Apollo's 'Dance'. Further more, I remixed 'Doomsday' by Murray Gold, 'Raindrops' by Sash! Vs. Stunt and 'Anthem 2' by Floorfilla.

In September 2009 DJ Yuzi and I started producing our own hardcore anthems and remixes including a remix of Ian Van Dahl's 'Reason' and our tracks such as 'Wasted', 'Give Me Your Love' and a popular track 'You Had Me'. I have also been making my own tracks as a solo artist such as 'Honkaaa', 'Seaside Raver' and 'Albino Hardcore'; influenced by Maquina and Evolution melodies and slightly harder basslines by artists such as DJ Kurt.

In December 2009 I was offered the chance to join the crew of Klubbers United. I now have a weekly slot (Tuesdays 9-10) Playing Hardcore tracks from big names as well as up & coming talent!

In March 2010, I joined The Embrasive Dance Project. A media outlet to promote Pudgy-Core Records and other Up & Coming Record labels!

In June 2007 I was asked to record DJ Kurt's live set at the Lock-Up in Hereford and a live performance by MC Gary B and Crazy Lee at The Jailhouse in November 2009.

I was once an MC for a time in 2006 and in 2007; MC'ing for DJ's such as Frooty, Daves Raves, Crazy Lee and DJ Stylus along with MC Orion, MC Energy and Gazy J. I was given a prime spot n the mic during the 2007 DJ Competition at The Lock-Up.

Aside from music, I enjoy a bit of good sport. Support Manchester United as I have during my childhood but I am quite passionate about Formula 1. I was a big Fararri fan during the Schumacher years but was a bit lost after he left... Until Ross Brawn bought out Honda and made his own team: Brawn GP.... Totally blew the crowd away in Bahrain in 2009.
