i stayed at harcourt sands from 1994 when i was about 11 months old til 2004 so sad to see it in this sorry state and it's apperently going to be turned into a housing estate next year despite a few years ago when they refused planning permission and said that it had to turn back to it's former glory and most of the islands revenue came from tourism and harcourt was a big source. i've got a few more photos harcourt this year so i'll put them in a video soon.

Hi HP, I stayed at Puckpool park in the Summer of 82, went over with eight friends from school, I was eighteen at the time, it was the best holiday I've had (first one without my parents)
Had a look at your uploads of Harcourt sands, really sad to see the state of it today, just terrible.
Went to have a look for Puckpool as we were heading back for the ferry, very sad to see what it has become.
Went back to the isle of Wight for the fist time this year with my wife and family, had a great time, stayed in a little cottage overlooking the needles. Had forgotten how beautiful it was down there.
